The Professional Council of Transport and Highway Engineering, being an autonomous public body created by law, will participate in the inspection, control, and surveillance given by law, to the exercise of Transportation and Highway Engineering. In 2015, the Professional Council of Transport and Highway Engineering will be recognized as a private law entity, a model and leader in inspection, control, and surveillance processes, in accordance with the functions established by law and its regulations, strengthening its presence at a national and international level to achieve competitiveness, with the improvement of the quality of the service, in association with the government and the universities.

When and where should I process the registration and professional registration card?
Once you have obtained the Degree in Transport and Highway Engineering, granted by a legally recognized university or institution, go to the Transport and Highway Engineering Council, or request your card. The council will study your request and the attached documentation and if it is found to be correct, it will register you in the professional registry and proceed to issue the corresponding specialist, professional, technical, or auxiliary technological registration card through which your professional registration is accredited.
